Dealing With Cravings: Identify Them

Cravings often rise from emotions, so being aware of the connection between your mind and your body is an important step. If you often crave ice cream when you are feeling depressed, it may be more beneficial to focus on your emotions than to dive into the freezer. If you raid the vending machine at work when you are bored or tired, try taking a quick walk or calling a friend instead.
