Keep Your Kids Cool and Hydrated

Encourage your kids to wear loose, light–colored clothing and to seek shade or go inside immediately if they feel overheated. Also, advise your children to drink even when they are not thirsty.

I taught my children to run their wrists under cold water to help cool down. They'd even do it at school in using the water fountain. Putting cold water - or an ice cube - on any/all pulse points really helps.
