Road Trips: Get in the Game

Children as young as three love “I Spy” (“I spy something blue…”); older kids can get wrapped up in “20 Questions” and “Buzz” (you take turns counting off numbers and must say “buzz” whenever, for example, you reach a number that’s divisible by four or ends in the numeral seven).

    My family used to play what we called “the license plate game” during long car trips. The goal was to spot one license plate from each of the 50 states. (Hawaii and Alaska were the most difficult to find!)
