Wrist Rainbow

Want to make a colorful — and powerful — statement?

Want to make a colorful — and powerful — statement? Try a charity wristband. What started with the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s iconic yellow Livestrong band has grown into a spectrum of causes and colors. From the white band from One, The Campaign to Make Poverty History, to the light blue Be Kind band from The Humane Society, these accessories not only look cute but do good.

To make sure your donation is going to the charity you intended, visit the Website of a charity you trust to see if the organization offers a band. For example, at the American Cancer Society’s Wrist Band Center you’ll find such bands as the blue Fear Nothing band, which encourages colon cancer screenings, and the teal Courage band, which represents the fight against ovarian cancer.
