Proper Grill Care

The key to great outdoor cooking is to take care of the grill itself.
  • Clean and oil the grates after every cookout. This will help prevent your hamburgers from sticking and give them those beautiful grill marks.
  • Make sure that your grill is set to the right temperature. If it’s too hot, hamburgers will burn on the outside before they’ve finished cooking on the inside.
  • If your grill has a lid, keep it closed while the food is cooking. A closed lid retains heat which shortens cooking time, and helps keep your hamburgers moist.
