Four-Step Deviled Eggs
Making perfect deviled eggs without that ugly green ring is easy.
- 1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water.
- 2. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, remove the pan from heat and cover for 10 minutes.
- 3. Drain the water and place the eggs in a bowl filled with cold water to stop the cooking and prevent the green ring from forming.
- 4. Let the eggs stand in the cold water at least five minutes before cracking and peeling off their shells.
