Super Easy Slow-Cooked Chili Brown the beef the night before, then refrigerate for simple morning assembly.

Serves: 6 • Prep time: 10 min • Cook time: 4 hours

  • 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned
  • 1 can (16 oz.) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 jar (1 lb. 10 oz.) Ragu® Old World Style® Pasta Sauce
  • 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Beefy Onion Soup Mix
  • 4 tsp. chili powder
  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and cook covered on LOW 8 hours or HIGH 4 hours. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked rice.

VARIATIONS: SECOND ALARM CHILI - Increase chili powder to 2 tablespoons.

THIRD ALARM CHILI - Add chili powder at your own risk!

    I love the no fuss of a slow cooker for weeknight cooking and this is a great recipe to add to your collection if you use a slow cooker regularly.

    I love meals like this... i usually just add my own chili powder though... and i always sprinkle grated cheese into mine :)

    just set it to cook and go my kind of recipe, perfect when you have a big group to feed.
