Hey Jodigulay, Vidalia is a wonderful little town in Georgia, USA. The onions grown from there can be bit into and eaten like apples. They are so sweet. They are yellow in color and can be found at all supermarkets that I have ever been to. Where do you live?? I'm from Savannah, GA.

It was very good. when i'm looking for something a little more presentable this beats the good old fashioned sour cream and onion soup mix dip :)

I've made this a few times and the last time i made it i used a regualr onion... it isn't quite the same, while it was still enjoyable it was lacking in the unique flavor brought out by the Vidalia onion

Oh yeah - way better than the original sour cream/soup mix dip!!
