Green Tea Asian Stir-Fry

  • 1/2 cup brewed LiptonĀ® Green Tea Bags, any variety
  • 2 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced or 1 lb. pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 bag (16 oz.) frozen Oriental or stir-fry vegetables

Combine tea, soy sauce and honey in small bowl; set aside.

Heat olive oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken, stirring frequently, 5 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Remove chicken and set aside.

Add vegetables and tea mixture to same skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes or until vegetables are almost tender. Return chicken to skillet; cook 1 minute or until heated through.

*Brew 2 LiptonĀ® Green Tea Bags in 1/2 cup boiling water for 1-1/2 minutes.

    I'm a really big stir fry fan, but I've never thought of using green tea. It's an excellent idea.
