Game Day is just around the corner, but don’t worry if your menu planning has stalled at soda pop and beer. We’ve got plenty of fun and easy ideas for big-game recipes that your guests will love (and which put plain-old chips and dip to shame).

Check out the tasty choices, from sandwich ideas such as Buffalo Chicken Sliders — soon to become a favorite — to trendy dips such as Disappearing Buffalo Chicken Dip, to show stopping ideas like our fun Football Ice Cream Cake, this week’s Recipe of the Week. Hard-core fans can swap out the chocolate icing for vanilla and then use food coloring to create a football decorated in your team’s colors.

Remember, a big-game get-together isn’t a formal meal, so it makes a perfect potluck party. Ask your guests to contribute, and take the pressure off yourself. If you’re going to a party, any of these recipes will please a crowd.
