Worried about getting everything done in time for the holidays? Take a deep breath and then check your kitchen cupboard. Chances are you’ve already got the ingredients to create several thoughtful and low-cost (not to mention delicious!) gifts for your family and friends. So stop stressing and start baking!

For everyone. Add some festive holiday decor to a small wicker basket, and fill it with your favorite varieties of cookies. (Cinnamon Stars, Skippy® Holiday Peanut Butter Cut-Outs, Buttery Holiday Cookies and Amaretto Cookies are just a few of mine.)

For co-workers. Bring a bit of creativity and whimsy to the table with our Ice Cream Ornaments, Vanilla ’n’ Toffee Ice Cream Wreath and Peppermint-Wrapped Ice Cream Cake. Plus, you can celebrate diversity at the office by making Chocolate Almond Macaroons (dense and spongy cakes) for Hanukkah and Mango Tea Lassi (a sweet milk shake) for Diwali, the Indian festival of lights.

For friends and family. Instead of relying on old standards, delight your loved ones by surprising them with Peanut Butter White Chocolate Fudge, Apple Gingerbread Cake, Peanut Butter ’ N Chocolate Dipped Strawberries or Cherry Ginger Biscotti.
