Easy on the Eyes

Want to make your eyes really pop? Here are some quick tips from makeup guru Ramy Gafni, founder of RAMY Beauty Therapy in Manhattan.
- Sweep bronze blush over your eyelids with a blush brush. “When you surround the eyes in warm earth tones, it makes them like headlights,” he explains.
- Add highlighter to the center of the eyelid. “Apply it to the lid right above the iris of the eye,” Ramy says. “Every time you blink it makes your eyes pop.”
- Avoid the clumps. “Women tend to apply more mascara to what’s already on their lashes — which makes it clump,” Ramy says, adding that his own Triumph! Mascara Revitalizer wets any existing mascara so old and new coats work together to thicken and lengthen lashes “without getting that tragic clumpy look.”
- Tend to your brows. Ramy built his reputation as a makeup innovator with a new approach to eyebrows; his product line includes no fewer than seven products dedicated to the unruly arches above your eyes. There’s no substitute for regular maintenance by a skilled brow expert, but for at-home use there’s Ramy’s Eye Grow Brows!, a conditioning treatment that encourages brows and lashes to grow, and Eye Lift Brows!, which contains botanicals that lift brows and help diminish the appearance of wrinkles around the eyebrows and eyes.
