Basil & Vegetable Cheese Spread

MAKES: about 2-3/4 cups spread   PREP TIME: 10 minutes  


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 packages (8 oz. ea.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread
  • 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Vegetable Soup Mix
  • 1/3 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

Line 7-1/2 x 3-3/4 x 2-1/4-inch loaf pan or small bowl with waxed paper or dampened cheesecloth; set aside.

Process cream cheese with Spread in food processor or electric mixer until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and process until blended. Press into prepared pan; cover and chill 2 hours or until firm. To serve, unmold onto serving platter, then remove waxed paper. Serve, if desired, with bagel chips, assorted breads, cucumber slices, assorted crackers and/or fresh fruit.

*SUBSTITUTION: Use 2 tablespoons dried basil leaves.
